This inspiration board comes from some ideas my mom and I are throwing around for my “something blue”. I love the robins egg and how it coordinates perfectly with bright pinks and yellows. What a fun color combination for an afternoon wedding.

INSPIRATION CHALLENGE#4: GARDEN-BY-THE-SEA
My great-grandmother has been on my mind a lot lately, and when I saw this gorgeous ring below on a rose garden print tablecloth, I was immediately inspired to do a board that represented the two things I think of most when times get stressful: my great-grandmother’s rose garden…&… the ocean. The pink, yellow, & coral elements blend effortlessly together and create an almost whimsical backdrop that would compliment any wedding celebration by the sea.

Dreams and Reality- Inspiration Challange #4
A little bit of dreaming, meets what I hope to become a reality. A variety of brown and green shades are the colors I dream of for my wedding. The sappy reasoning: our eyes. His are green (no not hazel) and mine are brown. I love the idea of the two seperate parts of us creating something new and beautiful. The cigars are such a part of him. MY BRIDAL SHOWER!!
My Bridal Shower was this past weekend and everything went perfect!! My sister was able to come into town from North Carolina, Mark’s mom made it, and so many other friends and family were able to celebrate this special time!!
I had a million gifts and was a little nervous opening them all up in front of everyone, but I was able to make a funny comment to over shadow my nervousness…this might have been a preview of how I might act on my wedding day!! hehe!!

It’s a Midsummer Night Dream inspired wedding. Lanterns hanging from trees, sweet cakes, bowls of lush berries, moss pillows, chiffon billowing in the wind, velvet blankets on forest floor and crystal sparkling in the moonlight. It’s all a part of the magic of this theme.

Real Dream Green Wedding: An Earth-Friendly Celebration Overflowing with Handmade Goodness
I describe this wedding as “charming homespun goodness meets elegant simplicity.” As they say, it’s all in the details. Especially when most of the lovely decorations were handmade by the bride and groom! Right down to the bride’s homemade strawberry jams and syrups guests enjoyed as wedding favors.
